Dressing for the Equality we deserve
This project was for my Sophomore Studio. For the Stamps College of Art and Design at the University of Michigan, sophomores are required to take this course to prepare for their Sophomore Review. This review helps see the progress students have made during their first two years. The student has to present this project in front of a panel as well as their work from all their other studios in order to get a recommendation for their next two years about continuing in the program. The main focus is a semester-long project completed during their Sophomore Studio Course. My project was to create a series of images that focuses on the empowerment of women. I wanted to help women feel more empowered and empower others. Therefore, I created a series of vagina art that was created into stickers and t-shirts so that women could remind themselves every day how powerful and important they are. Additionally, I designed a website to sell these graphics.
